The Role
Joining as a semi-senior accountant you will be supporting the delivery of accountancy, tax and business support services to a portfolio of clients, operating across various industries.
This role will involve:
- Providing guidance and support to junior team members
- Preparation of management accounts, VAT returns and CIS returns
- Initial year-end review for the annual statutory accounts and Corporation Tax returns
- Preparation and review of self-assessment tax returns
- Overseeing client deadlines and helping the team to prioritise their workload
- Responding to technical accounting and finance related queries from the team and clients
- Providing a friendly point of contact to clients ensuring timely responses
- Continued professional development with a commitment to learning new skills and advancing your technical knowledge
The Successful Applicant
We are looking for a highly ambitious candidate, someone who thinks outside the box and is willing to go above and beyond the expectations of clients, to help develop profitable long-lasting relationships.

- Part-qualified ACA/ACCA with senior level accountancy and tax experience
- Experience working within general practice is essential
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to balance workloads to manage the needs of various clients
- Experience with Xero accounting software is advantageous
