Social Responsibility

Making a positive contribution to society

Assuming our responsibilities

It is important to everyone at SAS that we work for a socially responsible company and are able to make a positive contribution to society.

As a profitable organisation, we believe it is necessary to donate financially and have carefully selected a few charities that are doing great things, both in the UK and overseas.

Their focus

Our collective home is in the process of being turned totally upside down which is leading to strife for almost all life on Earth.

What they do

It’s now common knowledge that one of the best tools to tackle the climate crisis and keep our temperatures from rising above 1.5C is to plant trees. They are also crucial to preventing ecological collapse.

At Ecologi we invest your money into projects that remove more greenhouse gasses than your own carbon footprint puts in.

Each month we support a range of carbon reduction projects that are certified at the very highest level by Gold Standard and equivalent.

Their focus

“Addiction is a serious mental health condition that can happen to anyone.” At Druglink they know this, and work to change the future for people who are, or could be, affected by substance misuse. This is done through Addiction Treatment, Housing Solutions, Education and Training.

What they do

For those already affected by substance misuse, providing a recovery and housing service which supports clients (and their family and friends) on their journey. Once in recovery they help people develop skills and confidence to enable them to find work experience and follow the path of reintegration back to a community.

Druglink provides supported housing for vulnerable groups including entrenched street homeless, women who have experienced domestic violence and ex-offenders needing stable accommodation and providing affordable counselling for adults in Hertfordshire.
