Where it started

Channel Tools found SAS in Kings Langley as a neighbour. Which allowed them to delve deeper into finding out more about who SAS were as a company.

The challenge

Channel Tools needed a firm of accountants to partner with for the long term, helping them develop and grow. Although they had already been running for 10 years they were still entering a significant growth phase and required financial support and guidance to help them achieve their ambitions.

The SAS team were able to offer support in multiple areas offering a full-service finance function, whilst the proactive approach ensured that management were offered advice and guidance in a timely manner.

The results

  1. Implemented time-saving technology such as Xero and Dext to automate processes where possible.
  2. Provided real-time information to help with making informed decisions and giving confidence to management as the business entered a high growth phase.
  3. Completed recent year-end accounts, corporation tax, and R&D claims within 2 months of the year-end, providing clarity on where the business is.
I have been using SAS for more than 5 years now and putting it in one sentence I can say that they not only exceeded what I needed and expected from a firm of accountants but have steered us through to a complete digital transformation on how we do our accounting. From the monthly accounting through to VAT, PAYE, R&D Advice and Year End Accounts they fulfil all our requirements.
