Alex Milton BSc (Hons)

Audit & Accounts Junior

Alex’s interest in finance began in 2019, when he took a self-funded course that sparked a passion for the subject—leading him to formally study Economics & Finance from 2021 onward. Alex graduated with a 2:1 in Economics & Finance from the University of Surrey and is now building a career in accounting, with plans to pursue the ACA qualification. At SAS, Alex works on year-end accounts, bookkeeping reviews, and corporate tax calculations.

Anna Maclean ACCA

SAS Micro Senior Accountant

Anna is a qualified accountant with six years experience in managing SMEs within a variety of industries, helping train apprentices at different levels, supporting them through AAT qualifications & assisting with professional development. Anna is responsible for managing the rapidly expanding SAS Micro Team. Anna also is responsible for year end account preparation, tax planning support to clients and overseeing tasks completed by the team.

Caoimhin Travers

Junior Accountant

Caoimhin is a Junior Accountant with two years of experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable. He has a strong understanding of accounting processes, financial controls, and key accounting software, allowing him to support the finance team effectively. Focused on completing his AAT studies, Caoimhin is committed to developing his skills and delivering accurate, efficient work. He is driven by adding value to clients through reliable financial support and a proactive approach.

Payroll Manager

Carrie, heads up our payroll department, bringing over 20 years of experience across multiple companies. She is highly organised and an expert in all aspects of payroll, including P11Ds. Known for her attention to detail, she consistently identifies and corrects errors left by previous accountants. Beyond managing payroll efficiently, she also educates our clients on best practices and process improvements, helping them streamline their payroll operations.

Chloe Scott AATQB

Onboarding Manager

After spending the last 5 years building the ever expanding Virtual Finance department up from the ground, Chloe has recently taken on a new venture here at SAS. Chloe now oversees the client Onboarding process and is now our Onboarding specialist. This is the perfect role for Chloe and her skill set and with the knowledge she has gained over the last few years, she is best equipped to provide our new prospective clients with the service and care that they deserve.

Chris Pennycook ATT

Client Manager

Chris began his career working for a top UK contractor firm, starting as a junior, and leaving as an ATT qualified Team Manager. Since then, Chris has worked as a Client Manager championing the importance of cutting-edge software, innovation and automation whilst overseeing a large portfolio of SME’s. Chris’s focus as a client manager is developing close working relationships, combining this with strong processes and accurate data to help support and grow ambitious businesses.

David Sunkel BA (Hons)

SAS Micro Junior Accountant

David is a valued member of the SAS Micro team, bringing a strong foundation in customer service and a fresh perspective on accounting. He holds a BA in Product Design from Bournemouth University and made the decision to transition into finance, proactively self-funding his AAT Level 2 qualification. With his sights now set on completing ACA, David is steadily building his expertise in the field. His role includes a focus on bookkeeping, where he is developing core skills and gaining hands-on experience.

Eanna is a Chartered Accountant who specialises in the construction sector, having worked with construction and property development firms for over 10 years. He is highly motivated, focusing on optimising cashflow, financing options, credit control and business strategy & growth.
